1. How we collect and use your personal information

Personal information refers to all kinds of information recorded electronically or in other ways that can identify the identity of a specific natural person or reflect the activities of a specific natural person, either alone or in combination with other information.

Personal sensitive information refers to personal information that, once disclosed, illegally provided or abused, may endanger personal and property safety, and may easily lead to personal reputation, physical and mental health damage or discriminatory treatment.

Company does not collect any personal information that the app uses locally on your device.

For iOS devices, iOS suspends apps that go into the background. The peer will need to use other communication channel to request to reconnect when the iOS user switches away from tailchat. Since switching apps can be a very frequent event, sender will automatically request to reconnect with push notifications. A per-device generated UUID and the push notification token assigned to the iOS device are saved in the push notification server. The UUID and the push notification token cannot be used to identify a device name or user. Chat message is never sent to the push notification server.
